Treatment Suitability & Consent
Teeth whitening may not be suitable for everyone. Before confirming your session, we ask a few questions about your dental health, sensitivity, restorations, and other relevant conditions. If you have dental pain, untreated cavities, gum problems, or other concerns, you should consult a qualified dentist before whitening.
Before your appointment
We ask about recent dental work, existing sensitivity, visible restorations such as crowns, veneers, fillings, or implants, pregnancy or breastfeeding, and any relevant medical conditions. Dental restorations generally do not whiten in the same way as natural teeth.
Our preparation and hygiene protocol
- A fresh pair of gloves for every client
- Single-use materials whenever appropriate
- All equipment is thoroughly cleaned and sanitised between appointments
- Professional-grade whitening products
- A brief pre-treatment health assessment
- Clear aftercare guidance to help maintain your results
- We always ask for your consent before taking or sharing any photos
Aftercare
You will receive clear aftercare guidance at the end of your session, including what to avoid in the hours afterwards. Some people may experience temporary sensitivity.
Photo consent
Before-and-after photographs are taken so you can compare your own result. Nothing is published or shared without your explicit consent, and consent can be withdrawn at any time.
